2WIN reed valve box large volume, specially designed for hyper Racing configurations. Direct competitor to the famous Vforce 3I of 85CR, 2WIN has focused on development to offer an even more efficient product while remaining attractive in terms of price. Numerous tests and prototypes have been carried out, and although American competition already offers good performance, the MaxFlow allows an additional gain of 0.3 to 0.5 HP depending on the type of engine, while providing a better-filled power curve. The pre-series models tested by various preparers have confirmed these gains, some already using it successfully in competition.
The base of the reed valve box is made of CNC machined aluminum, ensuring a structure without parasitic deformations and without air leaks. The two blocks where the reeds are fixed are vulcanized to ensure sealing, reduce the rebound of the reeds, and limit their premature wear. The reeds are made of 0.28 mm thick carbon.
Another advantage of this reed valve box compared to its competitors is its design requiring fewer modifications for installation:
Derbi Euro 3 Engine: Installation without modifications, although slight machining at the top and bottom of the intake duct is recommended to prevent the reeds from rubbing against the casing at their maximum opening.
Derbi Euro 2 Engine: Machining of 0.5 mm on each side of the intake duct, and the same recommendation as for Euro 3 for the top and bottom.
AM6 Engine: More significant machining is necessary, but remains less compared to the CR85 model, which allows for adequate casing thickness to be preserved.
For maximum performance, it is recommended to prepare the casings, especially at the junction between the intake duct and the lateral transfers.
The 2WIN reed valve box thus establishes itself as the new reference for powerful configurations, whether in Run competition, on track, etc.
